Wire EDM
Precision Wire EDM cutting for complex geometries, tight tolerances, and difficult-to-machine materials.
Wire EDM passes an electrically charged wire through a workpiece submerged in dielectric fluid, allowing complex profiles to be cut in hardened materials. It's commonly used as a secondary operation on CNC-machined parts.
Typical applications include punches and dies, keyways, splines and custom gears.
Our modern Fanuc Robocut α-C600iC handles a wide variety of materials and surface finishes, with capacity for larger jobs.
